SIMON PROtec Folding drive EA-KL²-L-RE

With the EA-KL²-L, the range of Klapparm² versions has again been successfully expanded. The EA-KL²-L is designed and developed to replace the EA-KLL based on the new Klapparm². The extension of the housing results in a stroke length of over 1200 mm with a maximum force of 550 N. The EA-KL²-L thus closes a gap in this special series.

The data of this Klapparm² drive are impressively diverse and predestined for example for roof exits, where a large opening width is required.
At the same time, the EA-KL²-L requires an unrivaled, low installation depth of less than 165 mm, fitting in aesthetically pleasingly into the overall picture of the skylight dome. With the integrated tandem function (up to four drives in parallel), the maximum force is doubled to 1100 N when using two folding arms at the secondary closing edges. Thus, even large domes can be equipped and high snow loads can be mastered. The immediate successor of the EA-KLL is based on the drive technology of the new Klapparm². The clamshell is compact and delivers a power density that no other unit can measure. The high-performance gear, with gears made of high-strength steel, was developed in cooperation with the Technical University of Munich and is designed for over 20,000 load changes.
