The new hinged arm² electric strike EA-KL²-T is a further development of the well-known electric strike EA-KL-T based on the hinged arm². This modified drive element is used for opening doors of any kind.
It is used in particular for doors which serve as an air supply opening for smoke and heat extraction in an emergency. In its movement in this case the body remains fixed to the door frame and only the arm which pushes the door open moves. Door and lever arm are not firmly connected, but the door is pushed open by a rolling mechanism. Thus, opening the door by hand is not restricted in any way.
- You need the drive and either the mounting plate (for mounting on the wall or floor or the mounting bracket (for mounting in the reveal)
- Can be used as a supply air opening in smoke and heat exhaust systems
- Large opening angle (125°)
- Manual opening possible at any time
