SIMON PROtec chain drive EA-K-50 Solo

This powerful drive sets its own standards for modern drive technology with regard to smoke and heat extraction and daily natural ventilation. With a motor-gear unit specially developed for this drive, the EA-K-50 achieves high pressure forces despite its small dimensions. The control is based on a microcontroller. The motor can be mounted on any window profile or frame by using different mounting brackets. All EA-K-50 chain drives are equipped with a back-stiff chain. They are available as a solo drive as well as a tandem version. As part of SIMON SHEV, the EA-K-50 chain drive is tested and certified as a NSHEV with various profile systems in accordance with DIN EN 12101-2.

Automatic window opener with smooth running

With a force of 500 N, the EA-K-50 chain drive reliably closes and opens inward and outward opening windows, flaps and doors. It can be mounted on main closing edges. The reduction of the inrush current (soft start) and the soft closing from 75 mm before reaching the end position "CLOSED" (soft close range) allow almost noiseless opening and closing.

EA-K-50 chain drives can be used with additional interlocks

The drive signals an F(eedback) contact for additional interlocks in the end positions and can therefore be used with interlock drives in sequential controls. Chain drives are very suitable for use in demanding objects in the residential and commercial sector due to the modern, EV1 anodized aluminum profile housing and the compact design.

Parameterizable via software interface SIMON LINK

The chain drives are controlled by means of a microcontroller. Parameters such as stroke length and force can be conveniently programmed on site via the SIMON LINK software interface. Not only can the stroke be shortened, but the drive can also be maintained and the running cycles analyzed.
