What we mean by "skylight

In order to avoid confusion, I would like to briefly outline what we mean by "skylight". Window professionals may please forgive me if the following information is not entirely correct.

By "skylight" we do not mean windows installed in roofs (pitched or flat) across the board. Rather, we understand it to mean the roof windows usually found in living areas, often made by Roto (Roto Dach- und Solartechnologie GmbH, Bad Mergentheim) or Velux (VELUX Deutschland GmbH, Hamburg). We do not understand sashes in the roof area of conservatories (mullion/transom constructions).

If you would like to retrofit conservatory sashes or similar windows with drives, please contact us directly. Some factors play a role here, which cannot be dealt with in a general way in an internet store. You are also welcome to send us a sketch with dimensions, or even a few pictures, especially of the area where the drive is to be mounted. Usually the main closing edge (this is always the side opposite the hinges).
