Chain drives: Where the chain lives...

We shot a short clip that shows where the chain disappears to. This half of a chain drive (the other half always includes the electronics and the motor) is called the chain station. And because longer trains need a larger station, a chain drive with a large stroke is also longer than the same one with a short chain. This also explains the asymmetry of chain drives.
