The PKA 40 pneumatic chain drive is suitable for opening both bottom-hung and top-hung sashes. It is characterized by the fact that it lies flat in front of the frame and does not protrude into the room.
By applying pressure to one side of the cylinder while simultaneously relieving the pressure on the other side, a pushing or pulling movement of the chain is executed. When the piston reaches its end position, the piston rod is locked. Manual unlocking is achieved by pulling on the unlocking piston.
When mounting the PKA 40 on the tilt sash, it must be ensured that it is equipped with an additional safety catch.
