• The security lock motor version is mainly used where the advantage of motorized unlocking has to be combined with the mechanical security requirements of lock models 309X and 409X. The integrated monitoring contacts allow essential lock statuses to be interrogated.
• The deadbolt is retracted by an electric motor and pretensioned by a spring mechanism. When the door is closed, the control latch causes the pretensioned bolt to be disengaged and the cross latch to be blocked, thus acting as an additional locking device.
• The lock operates on the working current principle and remains locked in the event of power failure and can only be opened by means of a key or by operating the inside lever handle.

Note

• The locks of model series 509X have a continuous handle follower and therefore require an interchangeable fitting (inside handle or panic bar, outside knob or handle bar).
• The lock is controlled by a pulse from a card reader, code lock, timer, pushbutton, etc.
