When pressure is applied to the cylinder "up" side, a pushing movement of the piston rod is executed. When pressure is released from the cylinder "up" side, the built-in spring causes a retracting movement of the piston rod. The piston rod is locked in the retracted position (without pneumatic pressure). Manual unlocking is effected by pulling the unlocking piston.
