Series or parallel connection is possible. In the case of parallel connection, resistance balancing between the individual branches is required so that all pyrotechnical pressurized gas generators receive the required current for 100% ignition.
When connecting several compressed gas generators to one ignition device, a current of 1A is required for the time of at least 4ms for safe ignition.
It is recommended that no more than seven pyrotechnic compressed gas generators be connected in series.
In individual cases, proper triggering of the pyrotechnic compressed gas generator does not lead to complete destruction of the priming pellet. In such cases, resistance may still be measured at the compressed gas generator.
