The Homematic IP remote control is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and comes with eight buttons that can be freely configured. Thus, wirelessly connected Homematic IP devices can be controlled conveniently and quickly when the smartphone is not ready. In addition to simple functions such as switching or dimming individual lights, several scene functions can be executed simultaneously via a button. It would then be conceivable, for example, that after pressing the button the floor lamp and the power supply of the home theater system are switched on and the ceiling light is dimmed down. A replaceable labeling field provides the necessary overview, which keys were assigned to certain functions or devices.
