The Homematic IP radiator thermostat is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and actively helps to save energy. The smart controller replaces already existing radiator thermostats, allowing energy savings of up to 30%.

The thermostat can be easily mounted on the radiator without interfering with the heating system. Power is supplied by two AA batteries, which can provide energy for up to 2 years.

Following setup, the room temperature can be set directly on the heating thermostat or via Homematic IP wall thermostat. In addition to the WLAN connection in the home network, you can also access the Homematic IP system at any time while on the move via the Homematic IP app.

Via the app, you can define individual temperature profiles with up to 13 changes per day in 3 adjustable heating profiles - so, for example, you arrive at a preheated bathroom in the morning, save valuable heating energy when you are away, and enjoy the evening in the living room at the desired room temperature.

If you want, you can also use the Homematic IP Skill for Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant to conveniently control your Homematic IP radiator thermostat via voice commands. The system becomes really smart in combination with the Homematic IP window and door contact. If this registers an open window, the hot water supply to the radiators is automatically reduced. If the window is closed again, the radiator also resumes its work. This helps save energy, increases living comfort and protects the environment.

Thanks to its particularly quiet drive, the Homematic IP radiator thermostat can also be used in children's rooms or bedrooms without any problems. The built-in automatic limescale and frost protection prevents calcification and freezing of the valve.

Tip: If several radiator thermostats are used in a room at the same time, they can be operated centrally via the Homematic IP app or, in a particularly practical way, via the Homematic IP wall thermostat.
