Almost every householder knows the problem: If the maximum humidity in a room is exceeded, part of the water condenses - the walls become damp, mold forms and a musty smell develops. Especially in private, professional and catering kitchens, bathrooms and sanitary rooms as well as basements, where a humid climate prevails, the risk of wet walls and the development of health-threatening mold is high.

This is where our PLS1000 professional humidity switch comes to the rescue. It takes over the ventilation of your rooms fully automatically (e.g. via room fans connected to the controller) and only when the existing humidity and temperature allow it.

Function

With the help of two sensors (these are included in the scope of supply) the PLS 1000 can measure the current relative humidity, as well as the current temperature in two environments. From these values, the PLS 1000 determines the absolute humidity, as well as the respective dew points. Based on these values, different humidity and temperature controls can be realized with the help of 5 integrated functions. Room fans for supply or exhaust air can be controlled directly via 4 integrated, potential-free relays. Typical applications are the measurement of humidity and temperature, the automatic ventilation, drying or humidification of rooms, the manual control of room fans, as well as the realization of a 2 channel temperature and humidity switch.
