WSS electric spindle drive type SG 100

Electric spindle drive 24 V DC for remote actuation of ventilation elements (windows, domes, etc.) in SHEV and ventilation systems for indoor spaces. Drive housing (WERO special profile) made of anodized aluminum EV1. The sliding swivel bracket guarantees secure mounting of the drive for almost any application. Switch-off is automatically load-dependent in the end positions and when the switch-off current is reached in any position. The actuator is splash-proof, dust-proof and corrosion-resistant from the outside.
All technical performance features correspond to the state of the art for operation in electrical SHEV and ventilation systems.
The actuator is characterized by high push and pull forces (1000 N) with a very small and slim design. The drive is particularly suitable for the operation of skylights, top-hung sashes and skylight domes in direct attack. An essential feature is the universal application due to the variable mounting and cable feed.

The drive meets the requirements for stability in fire tests in accordance with DIN 18232, Part 3. Endurance test passed over 10,000 double strokes under nominal load 500 or 1000 N.

General notes on mounting and connecting SHE drives 24 V DC

• Mount drives in retracted position. Ensure that drive and hardware connection are securely fastened. Tightly lock eyebolt after adjustment. Observe possible swivel range of the drive. Sashes must be firmly and tightly closed in "CLOSED" position. Do not operate tandem drives without tandem shut-off and synchronous drives without synchronous control!
• Inward opening sashes must be secured against falling by the window manufacturer using safety catches.
• The motor cable is 2.5 m long as standard. The motor supply cable must not exceed the max. cross-section-dependent cable length according to the table (appendix to the cable laying plan) up to the last junction box. The motor supply cable is monitored up to the last junction box or up to the last tandem or synchronous module.
• If a clamping ring is used, tighten it with 6-8 Nm. Observe the note on the clamping ring!
• Observe the enclosed connection diagram when connecting the drives. The applicable connection diagrams for the drives, the tandem or synchronous controls and the control centers used must be observed.
• After checking all connections and supply lines, give an "OPEN" command via the control center. The drives run "OPEN". Correct incorrect running direction of individual drives by reversing the polarity of the motor cables.
