The PA-KL²-DF hinged arm² drive is an extremely powerful drive for the electric motor-driven opening and closing of bottom-hung, top-hung and side-hung sashes. It is suitable for use on inward and outward closing elements. It is mounted on the secondary closing edges.

The PA-KL²-DF drive can be used very flexibly with regard to the installation situation and direction of rotation. Depending on the type of installation, opening widths of up to 140° are possible, thus ensuring rapid smoke extraction and ventilation in the event of a fire. The PA-KL²-DF swing door actuator is tested and certified in accordance with DIN EN 12101-2 for use in a natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilation system and can also be used for controlled natural ventilation (KNL).

The PA-KL²-DF swing door operator has special kinematics and the high-performance gearbox (> 20,000 load cycles) in combination with the stainless steel lever arm is very resistant. With a push and pull force of 500 N and the small installation dimension, this automatic opener is ideal for projects with high aesthetic demands - especially for large and heavy sashes.

More force with synchronous version

The PA-KL²-DF can also be used as a synchronous drive on bottom-hung and top-hung sashes that offer little space during opening. As a synchronous version, the hinged-arm sash drive applies a force of up to 1,000 N and can therefore be used well on heavy elements. Its great resistance guarantees safe operation of the drive even in strong winds, for example.

The connection is made via the SICO-PLUG connector. This includes the SICO BUS programming interface, via which parameters such as opening stroke and force can also be parameterized directly on site and further status messages can be read out. The PA-KL²-DF-S swing door actuator can be networked with each other in synchronous groups as well as for remote control with SHEV control centers and the building management system.

In both end positions OPEN/CLOSED, the actuator also offers a potential-free contact. Operating sequence controls and start-up delay are freely adjustable. Due to the freely adjustable start-up delay, the swing door folding arm is ideal for the automated opening of secondary sashes. The PA-KL²-DF swing door operator can also be used in combination with an additional locking device.
