SIMON PROtec chain drive EA230-K-30

The EA230-K-30 is an electromotive chain drive for opening and closing windows and flaps for smoke extraction and daily ventilation. The drive is available as a solo drive and as a synchronous drive. With parallel connection, up to eight solo drives can be connected to one switching element. Synchronous operation is possible with up to eight EA230-K-30-S drives on one switching element. The stroke length of the drive can be shortened by 100 mm or 200 mm via DIP switches.

Powerful yet quiet

The characteristics of the EA230-K-30 make it the perfect drive for ventilation applications and for reliable smoke extraction in case of fire. With a low power consumption, the chain drive opens and closes windows and dampers almost silently with a push and pull force of 300 N. With its extremely smooth running and low noise level, the drive guarantees optimum ventilation at any time of day without causing any disturbance. A soft start guarantees a safe mains voltage by reducing the inrush current. In addition, the drive has a soft-close function for seal relief. Visually, the EA230-K-30 chain drive fits seamlessly into its environment. The compact, elegant aluminum housing makes the chain drive particularly suitable for sophisticated building designs.
