NTS1 spindle drive gets under the wheels (endurance test)

When we needed a cover picture for our blog article "Endurance test chain drive VEGA" in the middle of 2019 and created this with a defective spindle drive type Fast, the question inevitably arose as to whether a drive could withstand such a thing and still function afterwards.

Of course, we did not want to sacrifice a new drive from our stock for this purpose. We also talked to various manufacturers of drives about this. One company (DRFA from Lörrach) took a drive out of production for us and ran it over with a car in their parking lot without further ado. Once crosswise and once lengthwise. Then the spindle drive was connected and tested. The result was amazing: The drive still worked perfectly!
